Pegasus Caught

Pegasus dancing
In a sky above snow,
Fanciful creature
Who knows not of woe.

Pegasus flying
Over winter's white plain,
Myth driven creature
Who dreams not of pain.

Pegasus caught
In the sharp snare's of man,
Jealousy's creature
Who can't understand…

How something so perfect,
How something so free,
How something so different,
Could ever quite be.

Pegasus weeping
In the deep, down below
Learning, in darkness,
Of pain and of woe.
