| Crusade Ratings News While Crusade's ratings started out strong, there was a decided downward trend for a number of weeks. Various explanations have been offered for the drop in ratings, including competition from the NBA finals, summer vacations, lack of interest, and lack of quality, but the truth is that causality in the ratings game is hard to prove. In recent weeks, Crusade has been holding steady at a rating of 1.3 (rating adjusted for TNT's coverage area), although there was a one-week drop to 1.0. The rating for this past week's episode, "Needs of Earth" (in my opinion the best so far), was up to the highest point since Crusade's debut episode, "War Zone". "Needs of Earth" earned a 1.5 (rating adjusted for TNT's coverage area). Congratulations to J. Michael Straczynski and Babylonian Productions for this small, but hopefully not Pyrrhic, victory! |
